8月20日,eBay的卖家新规正式实施。想必各个卖家现在都在紧盯自己账户表现的变化。
许多分析人士已经对新规作了详细的阐释和解读,我们就只重温一下其中最重要的几个影响账户defect rate(不良交易率)的标准:
- Detailed seller rating of 1, 2 or 3 for item as described;(买家在“物品与描述相符(Item as Described)”一项给予了1,2或3分评级;)
- Detailed seller rating of 1 for shipping time;(买家在“运送时间(Shipping Time)”一项给予了1分评级;)
- Negative or neutral feedback;(买家留下中评或差评;)
- Return initiated for a reason that indicates the item was not as described;(买家要求退货,且原因与“物品与描述不符”相关;)
- eBay Money Back Guarantee (previously known as eBay Buyer Protection) or PayPal Purchase - Protection case opened for an item not received or an item not as described; (买家通过eBay退款保障(又称eBay买家保障)或PayPal购物保障开启了物品未收到或物品与描述不符纠纷;)
- Seller-cancelled transactions.(卖家取消交易。)
从8月20日起,eBay对评估期不良交易率的最低要求为交易量的5%。如果评估期内卖家不良交易率控制在2%以内,就有资格成为eBay的Top Rated Seller。
而新规中争议较大的一项是当买家联系卖家,即便只是问个问题,卖家没有任何过错的情况下,eBay都将其计入一次不良。在大量卖家反应此问题后,eBay终于在上周更改了这一规则:
To help buyers with after-sales support, we're adding an option in the Contact Seller form that allows buyers to ask you a question about an item they've purchased or send you a message after the sale. This option will not be considered a "request/ case" and will not impact your seller performance.(为帮助卖家的售后服务,我们在Contact Seller中加入了一个选项,允许买家向卖家询问有关已购买产品的信息、问题等,或者仅仅是发个邮件给你。这一选项不会被视为一个“request/case”,因而也就不会影响你的账户表现。)
